About the Event
The program Jewish Holidays and the Land of Israel will be led by Ed Kahal on Sunday September 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Augusta Jewish Museum Education Center at 525 Telfair St. in downtown Augusta.
Please join us to learn more about the meaning of the festivals that give thanks to the Bounty of the Land and how they are celebrated in modern Israel. Jews used to travel to the Temple in Jerusalem to celebrate the holidays. Now centuries later, the pilgrimage festivals are still celebrated!
