
Augusta Jewish Museum's Second Sunday monthly community education program is Sunday, August 8 at 2 p.m. at the AJM Education Center, 525 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
Entitled "Preservation, Progress, and Promise," the talk will be presented by engineer and AJM Board member Jack Goldenberg who served as the Museum volunteer construction project manager. Jack, Vic Markwalter from Duckworth Construction, and others involved with the renovations will discuss the challenges of bringing the 161-year-old Court of Ordinary back to life as our Education Center. He'll also share the progress on the synagogue building rehabilitation, followed by a tour of the work-in-progress. Come early - only 30 seats available.
Masks and social distancing are suggested. Light refreshments will be provided.
