In the May 15, 2021 edition, the Augusta Press ran a great article about the history of the Augusta Jewish Museum and our plans to have a proclamation and preview opening in late July 2021.
"Not long before he died in 2019, Jack Steinberg had one request of Jack Weinstein — don’t let the Augusta Jewish Museum fail.
“This needs to be done,” said Weinstein, president of the Augusta Jewish Museum’s board of directors. The museum is readying for a July 21 opening."

The AJM Education Center (Court of Ordinary) is completed except for landscaping. The interior structure is completed and museum exhibits will gradually be added. In July there will be a museum pre-opening that will highlight the progress made and the exciting plans for the future.
